Avram Glazer said that he and his associates are conducting negotiations for the takeover of Man United.
Last month, the owners of Man United publicly offered the club for sale , in an attempt to find new investment. And recently, Avram Glazer was approached by The Athletic reporters outside the Al Bayt stadium in Qatar on Wednesday night, where he briefly talked about what was going on around.

When asked for an update on the Man United sale , Avram Glazer said: "It's not necessarily a sale, it's a process and we're continuing the process, so let's just go. wait and see what happens.
I'm actually here to watch the World Cup, but I appreciate your interest. It's an update, it's a process, and it's an ongoing process."
The Glazers became the owners of the Old Trafford club in 2005. They have largely fallen out of favor in the 17 years since, with mass protests taking place several times. The departure of Sir Alex Ferguson in 2013 exposed the shortcomings of the Man United owner off the pitch.
United have not won the Premier League in nine years and have only won three major trophies since Ferguson left the club.
